This past summer, I spent a month in Belgrade, Serbia, working on my physical preparation with my conditioning coach, Marija Lojanica. It was an intense but incredibly rewarding period focused on building strength, endurance, and stability - everything that forms the foundation for a strong winter season.
Training with Marija pushed me to another level. We worked on improving power, coordination, and explosiveness, while also paying attention to recovery and movement quality. Every session had a purpose, and I could feel myself getting stronger with each week.
Belgrade had its own rhythm - early morning workouts, long days of training, and a summer atmosphere that made it all a bit more enjoyable. Even though it wasn’t on snow, it felt just as important as any ski camp.
By the end of the month, I could see real progress - not just physically, but mentally too. This time reminded me how much consistent work off the slopes shapes performance on them.
